Mass timber does not just need more buildings. It needs flagships.

We’re proud to share that Pegasus Equestrian International Resort & Venue was selected to present at The Boardroom: From Pitch to Capital at the 2026 International Mass Timber Conference in Portland on March 31st from 2-4 PM — a live, deal-focused session built around real projects, direct investor feedback, and real capital.

What makes Pegasus different is not that it uses mass timber. It’s that it offers the chance to prove what mass timber can become at full scale, in front of an international audience.

The other three projects are strong examples of residential and conventional mixed-use development. Pegasus is something else: an approved, homegrown Oregon destination on 2,800+ acres where mass timber can anchor flagship public-facing buildings, shape hospitality and arena experiences, and serve as part of a much bigger long-term platform. At full buildout, we believe the opportunity here could extend into multi-million-square-foot territory.

The opportunity is bigger than the buildings alone. Pegasus represents a rare timber-to-finished-product story: from roughly 400 acres of managed timberland that will remain part of the site, to finished mass timber buildings experienced by guests, competitors, and visitors from around the world. We see Pegasus as a place where the industry can do more than talk about innovation — a place where companies can demonstrate, incubate, and showcase products and systems in the wild.

The mass timber industry needs more than isolated case studies. It needs places people can actually visit, experience, and remember. It needs projects that connect working landscapes, innovative wood products, guest experience, rural economic development, and real estate value creation in one visible place. Oregon is already building that ecosystem. Pegasus has the opportunity to become one of its most public flagships.

Pegasus is also not just good for mass timber - it is projected to generate substantial returns not only for our investors, but also for the community and Oregon as a whole. It will, based on our economic studies, be valued upwards of $400 million in full operation, welcome 100,000+ visitors annually, and employ hundreds of people while driving a much larger ripple effect across Douglas County and Oregon.

That’s why this conversation matters to us, and why the investor panel for The Boardroom feels so relevant: Jamestown, Hines, Barings, and Richard King Mellon Foundation each represent a different piece of what mass timber will need to scale — placemaking, user experience, capital discipline, and value-chain development.

We’re building Pegasus to be more than a venue. We’re building it as a platform. For aligned partners, there is still a limited window before the conference to join us as invested founders and help shape what gets built here first. The team at Pegasus Equestrian International Resort & Venue is excited for what is sure to be a “once-in-a-generation” project that will stand out for years to come.

Pegasus has limited opportunity for accredited investors in this early stage - but that window is short and closing. Reach out today. Call, email, or inquire here.

We are developing what could be the number one show park in North America and a world class destination even if you do not ride in on a horse. We look forward to hosting you.
