Pegasus Equestrian: Off to the Races

The Pegasus Equestrian Resort & Venue is moving forward.

Nestled among the picturesque hills of Douglas County, Oregon, sits over 2,800-acres of land, soon to be transformed into a world-class equestrian destination called Pegasus Equestrian Resort & Venue.  The vision is that of Quinn and Drew Millegan, two brothers whose passions of business and equestrian sport led them to conceptualize a world-class equestrian competition venue & resort that aims to change the landscape of the horse show market on the west coast.

The site has received land use approval (entitlements) as a destination resort and equestrian competition venue on the entire 2,800 acre site.

After much delay from our lawsuit against the seller, we have come to a mutually amicable settlement that allows Pegasus to move forward.  In the settlement, Pegasus has secured purchase of the same property, along with the addition of the homesite thereon, with a closing date of mid-September 2024.  At the September closing, Pegasus plans on moving forward with the development. When we put a shovel in the ground later this year, the on-site water reservoir will be one of the first items to be constructed.

The founders, Drew & Quinn Millegan, our experienced team members, and partners are all pleased to be moving forward again after this delay.  The demand and excitement for Pegasus in the industry and community remains strong, and we look forward to the work ahead of us to build out the facility.

The land’s topography affords a unique site plan that includes a state-of-the-art equestrian competition venue, luxury resort & spa, and Equine Experience Center (EEC), complete with a visitor center and winery. Though the site plans are diverse, the vision prioritizes equestrian competition. Plans for the multi-disciplinary equestrian venue include multiple indoor climate-controlled arenas, numerous outdoor grass and sand arenas, a combined driving course, a cross-country course and several full-size polo fields.

Pegasus Equestrian Resort & Venue aims to become a world-class competition venue on the west coast, but the vision extends far beyond the site’s fence line. The equestrian competition industry on the west coast of the United States has suffered greatly over the past 20 years from a shortage of venue creation & investment. Through its future successes, Pegasus Equestrian Resort & Venue plans to give back to both the equestrian industry and the community, anchoring local equestrian services and encouraging both the industry and broader economic growth.

The team at Pegasus Equestrian Resort & Venue is excited for what is sure to be a “once-in-a-generation” project that will stand out for years to come.

Pegasus has limited opportunity for accredited investors in this early stage - but that window is short and closing. Reach out today. Call, email, or inquire here.

Suffice to say, we are developing what could be the number one show park in North America and a world class destination even if you do not ride in on a horse. We look forward to hosting you.
